Usually the Speeches follow the order shown below

Father of the Bride

        Proposes a toast to the Bride and Groom

Groom

        Starts with My wife and I.... Then ends with a toast to the Bridesmaids

Best Man

        Responds on behalf of the Bridesmaids and reads out messages form absent friends

Father of the Bride

        Proposes a toast to Bride and Groom and talks about his daughter

Groom

        Responds to the toast.  Thanks everyone involved.

Bride (optional)

        Thanks Everyone

Best Man

        Reads telegram's and talks about the groom.
